Collection link
Your collection link is the URL you share with customers to collect testimonials. It exists the moment you sign up — no setup required.
How it works
When you create a Vouch account, you get a unique collection link:
https://collect.socialproof.dev/your-business-name
Send this link to a customer. They click it, fill out a short form (their name, role, and testimonial — takes under 2 minutes), and submit. The testimonial lands in your dashboard under Testimonials → Pending.
You review it, click Approve, and it's live — ready to display in any widget.
Where to share your link

No account needed, just a few sentences. Thank you!

📝 Email signature
Add your collection link to your email signature so it's always present. Something like:
🛒 Post-purchase or thank-you page
If you have an e-commerce store or booking platform, add your collection link to the order confirmation or thank-you page. This is the highest-volume, lowest-effort collection method — customers are at peak satisfaction right after a purchase.
📢 Social media
Post your collection link on LinkedIn, Instagram, or wherever your customers follow you. "I'm collecting feedback — if you've worked with me, I'd love a testimonial: [link]" gets real responses.
What customers see
The collection form is clean, mobile-friendly, and takes under 2 minutes to fill out. It asks for:
- Their name
- Their role or company (optional)
- Their testimonial (free text)
- Star rating (optional)
No account required. No email verification. They just fill it out and submit.
Moderating testimonials
All incoming testimonials go to Pending by default. You review and approve before anything goes public. You'll need to verify your email address before you can approve testimonials — check your inbox after signing up.
Once approved, testimonials are available in your testimonial pool and will appear in any widget you've configured.
Tips for getting more testimonials
- Ask personally, not in bulk. A direct message to one person outperforms a mass email blast every time.
- Make it easy. The fewer words in your ask, the better. "2 minutes, no account needed" removes friction.
- Follow up once. A single gentle reminder 3–5 days later can double your response rate.
- Ask right after a win. Timing is everything. Ask when the customer just praised you — don't wait a week.
