What counts as an "active widget"?
A widget is a testimonial display you embed on your website. On the Free plan, you can have one widget live at a time — for example, a testimonials section on your homepage. You can collect unlimited testimonial submissions on every plan, but the Free plan lets you keep up to 25 testimonials active. The widget limit is separate: Free includes one active widget at a time.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. No credit card required, no trial period. The Free plan is not a limited-time offer — it's how SocialProof works. We only ask you to upgrade if you outgrow one widget or want to remove branding.
When will Pro launch?
Pro is in final development.

Can I collect testimonials on the Free plan?
Absolutely. Collection links and submissions are unlimited on every plan. On Free, you can approve and keep up to 25 testimonials active in your account; Pro removes that cap. No plan upgrade is needed to start collecting.
What platforms does the embed widget work on?
Any site that allows custom HTML: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, plain HTML sites, and more. It's a single script tag — drop it in and it renders. See our

Is there a contract or long-term commitment for Pro?
No. Pro is month-to-month. Cancel any time — your data stays yours.
What happens to my testimonials if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your testimonials are always yours. If you downgrade from Pro to Free, your first widget stays active and all your testimonials remain in your dashboard.
